Cleaning Instructions to Protect Your Warranty

Per warranty instructions, keep debris off of the metal roofing panels to allow proper drainage and to prevent staining. Keep tree limbs trimmed and as far away from roof as possible. When cleaning is necessary, the following is the only acceptable method for our roofing material. Use a soft brush with an extension to clean from the ground or with a ladder. Walking on the roof can damage panels and is extremely dangerous when wet. Clean with a mild powdered laundry detergent with less than 0.5% phosphate. (ex Tide) This method will clean without damaging the protective coating. Do not use pressure washer as this method can force water into seams and hardware causing underlying areas to become damaged. Pressure washing can also damage the paint coating.
